Do you have any rec on where to start? I'm running a pirate arc in my dnd campaign and need some inspiration but so many of these look good, so I can't choose.
i haven’t read everything on this list, but from the one’s i’ve read, i’d recommend starting with either the sea witch (historical fantasy) or hunt on dark waters (more fantastical pirates).

Are any of these clean? I’m dying for some pirate romance in my life but prefer little to no spice
in deeper waters and a gentleman’s guide to vice and virtue are both YA so probably no spice? but i haven’t read either one. also, not sure about the level of pirate content. i added both of them from the queer pirate thread in the pagebound club because who doesn’t want lgbtq+ pirates?
