I always enjoy reading the author’s notes, especially at the end of historical romances and especially if they share the names of some of the nonfiction books they read while researching the novel. I am always excited to add those to my nonfiction TBR. Recently I learned about a book called Sister Sleuths about female detectives and investigators in the 19th century.
Do you all read the author’s notes?
What is the most interesting thing you have learned in or because of an author’s note?

Today's random question...
Have you ever read books with a time limit? I'm thinking of wanting to read within a month, during an event or before an event starts.
I really wanted to reread Cold War by Keira Andrews before the Winter Olympics finished but due to unforeseen circumstances I only managed to start in this morning. I should be able to finish it tonight.

What are your most-read authors?
I think the three authors from whom i've read the most books are Tahereh Mafi (9 Books), Leigh Bardugo and Jennifer L. Armentrout (both 7 Books). I've also read a lot by the German author Sebastian Fitzek, but i don't know how many of his books i've read. I think at least 9 or 10.

Hi everyone! 🥰
Does anyone have fantasy, horror or sci-fi recs that have no romance in it, like not even a little bit? I've been going through a lot of lists and reviews but somehow it's very hard to find something without a romance in there somewhere. I understand of course that it's a genre a lot of people find appealing and there is nothing wrong with that 🥰
I'm aroace, and i find romance in books boring at the best of times 😅 I'm a big fan of found family, stories about siblings or family, as well as deep friendship bonds that even go as far as platonic love.
If anyone has some recommendations, shoot them my way 🫶

This was a fun insta-love throuple romance. The worldbuilding was a little sparse, but the romance was compelling.
