Hey everyone! I was hoping to get book recs from some of you for my sister. Sheās a young teen and very new to reading, so preferably books that have been adapted to audiobooks. In the past, she has liked books like Calvin and Hobbes, Love and Gelato, and A Thousand Heartbeats. I have a list down below of what weāre looking for.
Hereās what weāre looking for: M/F (male/female human romance)-Also doesnāt have to be romance, but thatās what sheās kind of new to right now and we donāt really know if she would like fantasy books (or any other genre, tbh), but feel free to recommend other genres! Low spice/swearing-keep it closed door and no f-words please! Graphic novels-graphic novels are much easier for her to read because sheās new to it. š but feel free to recommend short books or audiobooks.
I think thatās it š. Thanks in advance!

Hey there!
I am looking for fiction book recommendations that have chronically ill/disabled main characters. I myself have multiple chronic illnesses and am disabled and would love stories where the main characters overcome their circumstances despite their limitations. My favorite genres are fantasy, sci-fi and anything with a found family trope. Thanks in advance!

I just moved so Iām currently unpacking which means rearranging my bookshelves. It makes me wonder about other organization systems.
How do you organize your books? Do you double-stack your books? Do you stack your books up on the shelf sideways or just put them like normal? Do you organize by author? genre? color? Do you separate out annotated books from pristine books?

I'm reading The deal right now and even though it's depicted from an annoying 'I'm broken' POV and puts orgasm as the main goal of sex, it's the first time I see an FMC in romance who struggles to climax.
Does anyone have recommendations of books with similar topics, potentially involving a neurodivergent FMC? I've searched on the Lists but couldn't find.
Thanks!
(Sorry if my title is too forward)

I've seen some on the list labeled as clean romances, which is fine for some people, however I like some spice! I've already read some of these. But which on this list would you consider at least medium to high spice.
(I read some smutty stuff, so my scale may be scewed, lol)
But I find the Rachel Lynn Solomon ones at least mild-medium.
GIve me your spicy recs please!

Hello, I've recently realised that I've been reading a lot more MM romances than sapphic, and I'm wanting to diversify my reading. I know there are a lot of lists, but I'm looking for some specific recommendations as I've read some books in the past that sound like they'd be up my alley but were boring. I'm looking for sapphic books where the characters have a fun, bantery dynamic. I also enjoy romances where they start off on the wrong footing, e.g. annoyance to lovers or rivals to lovers. Some of the books I've listed below sound like they fit this, but because I found that the characters didn't feel that fleshed out, they ended up being boring reads. I also would prefer something shorter and cozy/lighthearted than anything too long and worldbuilding-heavy. Thank you!
Books I enjoyed: ⢠Ladies in Hating by Alexandra Vasti ⢠Gwen & Art Are Not in Love by Lex Croucher ⢠This River Has Roots by Amal El-Mohtar ⢠The Last Hour Between Worlds by Melissa Caruso ⢠The Phoenix Keeper by S.A. McLean
Books I didn't enjoy/found disappointing: ⢠Lady's Knight by Amie Kaufman (mainly because I couldn't connect to the characters; the plot and humourous tone were good) ⢠A Dark and Drowning Tide by Alison Saft ⢠Can't Spell Treason Without Tea by Rebecca Thorne ⢠A Treachery of Swans by A.B. Poranek ⢠The Isle in the Silver Sea by Tasha Suri

I've been meaning to read more sapphic books but can't seem to find good ones. Can someone recommend books that aren't fantasy, good written and in which the lesbian couple is the main plot? ā”
