The songwriter’s dead
Nightwish is one of the greatest bands in history. One of the things that make the band the greatest is their songwriter Tuomas Holopainen. In my humble opinion, he is the best songwriter/poet of our time. His songwriting is heavily inspired by literature and poetry. These are a few of the books that inspired his songs and albums.The name of the list is a reference to the lyrics of their song, The Poet and the Pendulum. One of my all-time favorites.
