A lot of Halloween lists are already on Pagebound, but none of them contain only books explicitly related to Halloween or October (many have books with just an autumnal vibe, or books that are just in the horror genre). Because of this, I wanted to make my own Halloween reading list that was more specific to the actual holiday :)
There are two exceptions:
Feral and Hysterical — Not directly related to Halloween or October (it's a reading guide to dark fiction/horror by women), but the cover is screaming Halloween color palette, and I couldn't NOT add it
The Legend of Sleepy Hollow — Not set during Halloween, and though it is set during Autumn, it does not specify the month. However, this tale has very much become associated with Halloween in pop culture, so I decided to add it
