I havenโt read any of these except for the communist manifesto โ do you have a recommendation which I should start with?

The first book I read to really get into Marxism was The Origin of the Family, Private Property and the State by Friedrich Engels which honestly I quite recommend! It gives you a great understanding of how marxism understands history (aka historical materialism), which is a basis for understanding how marxism works. Though I would recommend doing some basic googling about historical materialism alongside your reading since the book is not about explaining theory but about putting it into practice, so you kinda need to understand some basic principles to really get something out of the text. I also hear Reform or Revolution is good for beginners since it's pretty short, but I haven't read it myself.
