Mata la piñata- one side of the book is in the present tense and one side in in the past tense so you can choose which one suits your level. Very easy, made for beginners

Secretos ds La Selva by Erica O’Mahony- i couldnt add this book as it’s not on good reads but it’s for a level 3 reader and uses present, perterite, imperfect, and future tense. All of the various tenses may make it sound hard but in my experience you only need to know the present and have a bit of understanding of the past tenses to understand this book

Cartas ds amor traicinado- this book is for intermediate and advanced readers but it’s made for Spanish learners. I read this as an intermediate night going into advanced low level spanish speaker and it was tough but doable

Rigoberta Menchú- this one’s an autobiography. I read this as an intermediate night going into advanced low level spanish speaker and it was tough but doable

La casa en mango street- it’s a series of poems about a girl’s life (think the poet x) and the hard part about this one is reading metaphors and other poetic devices in another language. Good for an intermediate mid-high speaker

La isla bajo el mar and el viejo que leía novellas de amor- these are both novellas written for native adult Spanish speakers by native Spanish speakers. You should be advanced low-mid legal before reading these. I found la isla bajo el mar to be a bit more difficult then el viejo

Antes De Ser Libres- definitely for advanced readers. The book isint too hard to read if you’re at an advanced low level or higher but it takes time to understand which for me at least, made the chapters feel sooo long
