Ugh, I've liked Josh until now but now I'm getting the ick. I know they both hurt each other, and this was not a good fight. BUT I firmly believe Josh is the one in the wrong here. Should Ari have been more open about her feelings and not run away? Sure. But Josh was very much in the wrong for going into this evening assuming he was going to end up with a girlfriend. I know that's his whole thing, that he jumps into relationships quickly, but Ari has been very upfront about the fact that she's not ready. She has had exactly 1 serious relationship and is still dealing with the fallout of her divorce. He knows this. Her best friend has told him, multiple times, to give her space. Ari herself explicitly asked for time to process and think. And yet he still feels like he's "owed" or that he "deserves" a romantic relationship with her. It feels very Nice Guy ™️ of him to be mad she isn't his girlfriend when she has NEVER said she was ready for that.
