Why is an almost-30 year old choosing to go by Mikey?? I'm further along in the book than this, so I know he's a spoiled nepo baby and fully leans into the stereotype. But Mikey?!? That's a name for a child. He could go by Mike. Or his middle name. Or even Michel if he still wants to be pretentious. Why does he choose to use such a kid sounding nickname?

Anyone else picturing the main character as Jesper from Klaus? They could start a club 😂

I loved this. It was so cozy and sweet and whimsical! I was so happy to read about Terlu's happy ending and journey, I had been worried about her after The Spellshop. The ending was so perfectly tied up and so sweet

I'm not sure how I feel about this book. Parts of it were absolutely beautiful and will stick with me. And some parts dragged. Addie was equal parts fascinating and boring, what do you mean she's lived 300 years and still somehow acts like a 20 year old? Overall a beautiful book but not my favorite.
