okay so i have thoughts...
first off, that night was real and not a dream sequence. as i was reading and things were unfolding i found it weird and confusing (which im sure was the point) and was holding out for the explanation.
was not expecting this culty, ritual, bunny transformation. trying to decide if it's satisfying enough of an explanation... i think it is, but im confused on how quick Samantha just tags along.
is it because shes dark and brooding? is it her desperate need to belong, to feel needed? people pleasing to a crazy level?
maybe its simply the lure of being a part of something. something odd and dark and strange and shared that forces a familiarity, and intimacy. the type she craves. hates people for, due to a longing of it.
i dont know...
i have thoughts, but they're all incomplete. i feel like my enjoyment of this book has lots of room to go up and/or down.
this plot point is just enough to keep me engaged, to continue reading. im curious to where the story will lead but i feel like i dont have high hopes/expectations.
