I just saw a PAPERBACK listed for $21 USD! This probably isn’t breaking news for many of you, but it shocked me. I noticed an uptick in prices a while back, but I’ve been limiting my book budget and hadn’t realized how bad it’s gotten. Thank goodness for libraries; they’ll be needed even more now.

It did get me wondering though. Were books always priced comparatively this high or are we in new territory? I’m bout to be waving my paperbacks like a Rollie.
