Ankara is part of Zelu's identity so I suppose this little rusted robot is an extension of her. Cut from the same cloth as it were.

After being fired and getting her novel rejected, she has projected onto a machine, one unable to generate its own stories yet hungry for storytelling so much so that it becomes a scholar. It is everything she is and isn't.
