Tandem reading for improved pronunciation 1% (page 3)

I don't know how I would have pronounced 'quay' on my own, but I would have been wrong. Thanks to the audiobook (and Google because I also don't understand phonetic spelling tbh), it's pronounced kē, kinda like key but with an 'eh' sound at the end instead of y. Who knew the secret to not embarrassing yourself with a word you've only ever read, not heard, was tandem reading!!
