okay so don't stone me for being too logical for a horror book with fantasy elements but —
- Wouldn't it be possible for Thomas to just paint a monster that...eats other monsters? Or is the painting-to-monster transformation too selective?
- If Wickwood students were previously allowed to enter the forest, and now there's a fence, does that mean the school is aware of the monsters? There has to be a reason, right?
