I know it might sound fucked but I'm sitting here in my warm bed, safe and with my family, and yet this level of community, duty, and pure survival makes me crave something I can't describe without sounding like an asshole. I want to play a role in my people's survival instead of working for rich people I'll never meet. This is alerting my inner anti-capitalist lol. Like obviously the characters are suffering, but that's mostly due to the abandonment and illness/death, and I would thrive in something like this. Minus the plague, duh. Without the plague, maybe something survival-esque like this could actually help some of the characters, therapy-wise idk
