I feel like I missed something because the book put so much emphasis on the tanner talking about “perfect” skin for leather, which is just fucked up to start with. But now describing that “FGP” is all over the woman in barn doesn’t that kinda go against that ‘ideal’. Like I hate that this is something I’m getting hung up over but just the emphasis of pure skin and then the diacotamy of “FGP” being all over the bred humans (🤢) just seems counterintuitive to the world building.
