Novels about Masculinity in Crisis

Hi everyone, occasional commenter but first time post creator on the PB club forum! After reading Jon Ronson's new non-fiction book as well as most of the booker longlist, I wanted to put together a list of books that deal with so-termed 'crises of masculinity'. I'm seeking any recs for classics or litfic where a man is the protagonist and one of the core themes is either his conflict with the masculine ideal or the masculine ideal itself being in flux, particularly in relation to capitalist alienation. It's not the sole focus of the list, but to be crude and appropriative, I'm curious about the notion of 'weird boy lit'. I tried searching and couldn't find much on PB about masculinity as it pertains to fictional works, but if I missed an extant list please let me know!

Not exclusively looking for books by/about cis straight white men - interested in queer and poc masculine crises.
