okay so i dont know that much about greek mythology so someone pls help me with this. from what i know from reviews after watching the odyssey, a lot of ppl seemed to be annoyed that menelaus was perceived as an abusive husband when he and helen were rlly in love. and its the same in this book. so do most adaptations just portray him like that? would it be most accurate or is it just something people do?? other than that, it took me a while to realize who was the speaker but now ikk :)
