I like the concept of this book but I’m struggling with the way it skips over huge chunks of time within a few paragraphs. Maybe there’s a point to it but I feel like it’s taking away some of my investment in the story bc just when I get interested in something that’s going on (for example, Zelu writing and publishing her novel) we just kind of hand wave through the entire thing and move on.
