The way all of the grown-ups talk in circles without saying what they mean drives me insane. Of course, I understand that it's that kind of time period and that's how it was done but it doesn't make it easier to read. I really hope that Anne will learn to have a bit more empathy for others cause she is so focused on herself and nobody else. The more I read it the more I understand it's not a book for me and it looks like it's illegal to hate anything about it cause everyone loves it so much 😂 Her friendship with Diana is cute, a little dramatic but cute. The way Anne talks about it almost reminds me of the "class s" thing.
