Hi all, I have been thinking about the best way of expanding my knowledge about worlds literature and my plan is to create a list of books from different countries and time periods to get myself more familiar with other works. Do any of you have any recommendations? Maybe we can help eachother to step out of our reading comfort zones and explore around the world.

I’m having a very hard time getting into this audiobook. I find these characters incredibly annoying and unfortunately, lacking dimension. I fear my favorite character is Maryam’s grandfather.

The reveals!!! Oh my god, I was being thrown for loops. I already knew about the BIG reveal with Ming Yi, but I never could've guessed how it would be executed. My heart aches so much for Qingxuan, and we should've gotten more out of Shi Wudu. They better not stay gone for long.
Beyond that, the progress with HuaLian?? Argh, I wanted to shake Xie Lian like a rag doll, please just admit that you have feelings for him!!! Hua Cheng is so down bad for him and would get into so much bull for him, #1 male love interest.
I will confess, I completely mistook Quan Yizhen for Lang Qianqiu. No idea how that happened.
