Ruby is a hot mess.

I hate to say this, but the math isn’t mathing. And maybe it’s me.

Barbara Walters retired in 2014 so if she was 12 for the interview, she was born in 2002. Which means she’s no older than 24 today. I looked up when the book was published and it’s 2022. Which means that she’s 20 in this story. This goes a long way to explaining how messed up she is, but she reads much older.

And yes, it was Barbara Walters that made me think about this. That’s an old reference if there ever was one.
