Does anyone else find that they keep missing out on badges because of the number of books they DNF?

I'm currently reading my way through one Quest and by the title and description the books included should be tailored to my tastes as it's based on my favourite sub-genre but so far, I'm liking maybe 1 book in 3 and DNF'ing 1 book in 4. At this rate, I'm going to run out of books before I can get my gold badge 😅

Has anyone else had a similar issue? I read for enjoyment so the idea of pushing through a bad read just to get the badge doesn't appeal to me.

I was thinking maybe I should just set them as "finished" and then mention in my review at what point I DNF'd them? 🤔

I'm just curious about others thoughts on this 😀
