We all know the the big tropes like enemies to lovers in romances or farm boy to hero in epic fantasies. I was always a sucker for micro tropes, because most of the time you don't know they're gonna be in the book before reading it, making it a surprise every time. I'd be curious what some of your favorite ones are, even if they're extremely niche! I don't care which genre it is.

I guess mine would be mind reading in romances where the love interest is stoic on the outside but secretly has unhinged thoughts, gets me every single time 😂
