wait have any 21+ year olds finished or enjoyed this? lol it’s cute or whatever so far but i fear i would’ve enjoyed this book a lotttt more if i was a teen omg. i’m pushing through though or giving it until at least 50%… idkk the writing is just so juvenile to me 😭.

I never really know what books are going to be about especially since I never read the synopsis. The title has always been enough for me, leaves room for curiosity. This book was a tad bit predictable but that doesn’t make it bad. I could guess how it was going to end but that doesn’t mean I could guess everything that happened in between that. I couldn’t have guessed all these profound conversations would’ve been had, I couldn’t have guessed I could relate to phoebe in any way. Things are like that sometimes and I like it.

The earlier you free your soul the better. I think specific pieces of art find you when you least expect it but only when you're ready. Arguably one of the best books I've ever read. There's so much complexity in life yet so much simplicity. We all just really need to be.
