I've seen a few posts where the audience is assumed to be American and it made me curious about how many users are actually American? Objectively speaking it makes sense that the majority is but I wish there was a statistic for it (just out of curiosity).

I chose the coffin emoji because 75% of the characters died.

I'm being shown the language listing for spanish but all of the post and reviews are in English. Do all the posts/reviews for all of the language versions get put together and pushed out on all of the versions or is it just everyone in this post/review set read the spanish version and are commenting in English?
apologies, I am new here and not quite sure how it works.

The Last Tale of the Flower Bride

Much of the gothic literature I've read have been historic (often Victorian) settings, but what about contemporary gothic lit! I read The Last Tale of the Flower Bride a few years ago and loved it (it's in this quest 😉). I found the contemporary setting such cool contrast to the story, which otherwise felt very traditional in gothic elements.
What contemporary gothic lits have you read and loved? How did the gothic influence the contemporary nature of the book or vice versa?

little sister and her brother’s best friend. forbidden romance. sign me up! this started as a book i randomly found on another book tracking app and thought “i can read this while i wait to start choosing from my february tbr” but i had so much fun reading. i loved the character friendships. just a happy book overall.

What the hell is with these men tattooing women without their consent!?
I’ve lost count of the amount of books with randomly appearing tattoos in them now, usually associated with the fated mates trope and I’m like !?!?!?!? How are you not mad about this?

I'm curious about what some of the favorite books you all have found due to Pagebound have been! I just think it’s so fun and lovely that our feed works by showing what people we follow are posting and also commenting on; it’s such a refreshing and organic way of replacing a traditional algorithm, and i adore how the experience of it all centers the friends and connections you have (plus how it encourages new ones to be made!)
Mine are Don't Let the Forest In by CG Drews (fall 2025 readalong) and Mad Sisters of Esi by Tashan Mehta (@crybabybea advertising, and numerous glowing reviews from other people)
The Works of Vermin by Hiron Ennes is my most-anticipated read in terms of all the Pagebound finds I have saved; I found it by randomly clicking around on the site one night at like 3 AM, and then @bbyoozi happened to be reading it at the time and their posts/our chats convinced me to TBR it. Real excited to get to it soon!
