My first Romantasy & first SJM book.
This was good, but not great. This had a slow start with a lot of world building, but finally picked up pace towards the end. The ending did have me intrigued on what will come next in the series. I'm going to begin reading book two as that's where everyone says the real magic starts.

I love Lucien! Is there more of him throughout the series? Does he get his own story? I hope so!

At first I thought "Rhys" was like 'reese' but then I saw Rhysand, and that feels more like 'Rye-sand' not "reese-and'. Help lol

This was my first book to screen experience and I get it now...the book was so much better! I enjoyed the movie, the visuals and cinematography were stunning, but I felt there was so much missing, so much depth to their story that didn't make it on screen. I was left underwhelmed and slightly disappointed. Is this how all book to screen adaptations are? Should I have watched the movie first?
