What the title says! What is your silliest reason for dnfing a book?

I'll start - I got about 60% of the way into David Copperfield before I realized he was never going to become a magician because it's a freaking Dickens book of course the magician is unrelated. Felt so dumb and was so disappointed that I rage quit. 🤦‍♀️ 🎩🪄 A decade or more later, picked up Demon Copperhead and was struggling a bit. Then I saw that it was a retelling of David Copperfield and I was like - it's fate. It is only appropriate that I dnf this as well. 🐍 🫠
