Stephen Black is my favorite person in the entire world so far and I really hope this fairy guy doesn't royally mess him up but I'm afraid that's exactly what's going to happen Also have loved how Childermass does not hesitate to call Mr. Norrell out on his BS. I want to see more of him, too. Otherwise, I'm actually enjoying this book WAY more than I thought I would. It's honestly kinda like watching a telenovela if it was set in the regency era. The footnotes feel like elaborate cut scenes and I'm liking the Gothic and increasingly whimsical feel
