Some highlights for our pet companions 🐾
Now I'm curious ! Did you name your pet after a book (a character, a place, or an author)? Are there any parallels between their personality and their name ? 🐕🐈🐇
I didn't name my older cat after a book, but my younger one definitely is ! She was supposed to be named "Rhiannon", but I read Circe by Madeline Miller and her fate changed... 👀 So, I’ve had my little Circe with me for almost three years now, and she really fits the character ! (well...a silly version of Circe...)

Okay, so I’m a little obsessed with Bridgerton right now (especially with Benedict and Francesca/Michaela). I’ve heard a lot of people say that the books aren't really that good (if not bad), and I’m a little afraid of being frustrated by the original material. I really appreciate the show's decision to change things regarding race and gender to create an "ideal world".
BUT, I’m wondering if they might be better as audiobooks ? If anyone has experienced the saga in audio format, could you give me your impressions ?
I should clarify that my only experience with romance in this era is with classic English literature, like Jane Austen 👑 (and I see someone asking for "sapphic bridgerton", I looking for the recommandation under her post !!! thanks to her)

I'm curious, what's everyone's reading rituals? For example, I'll usually listen to an audiobook in the morning as I'm waking up and going about my morning routine. I find it less overstimulating than music, and that it helps me start the day more engaged and ready-to-go :]
