I was a little worried because I was bored with the beginning of this book but now that the nightmare is talking more and Ravyn has been introduced, it feels like something is actually starting to happen.

I really enjoyed the first book in the series and this one definitely follows the same kind of witty charm that the first had. I think one of the drawbacks of this was that it was shorter so you didn't have as much time to really get it to know the characters who were the suspect. I think that having those backstory is really made you understand and feel for the characters and understand the motivations The book was trying to convey. overall the mystery was really exciting and interesting. I didn't solve the mystery fully in this one, but I think the charm of this book is that you're supposed to not figure out the mystery and have that reveal happen on the 24th chapter.
