Ugh, I really dont like Clio. She is such an immature self-centered child of an adult.

Should have posted this earlier but how was the attic access in Clio's bedroom closet if her bedroom was downstairs?

Is Daphne being manipulative by talking about the nightmare and memory? Maybe a little but didnt seem like it.

As a fan of Carrie when I heard about this book I knew I had to read it. It was everything I hoped it would be. It pays beautiful homage to the original story while absolutely standing on its own. From the first moment we meet her its easy to feel for Maddy, she's trying so hard to just make it through high-school and not be noticed. Just existing quietly is enough reason for her peers to pick on her, finding out she is another kind of different pushes things over the edge. The author did a fantastic job of writing just how horrible high-school in a small town can be.

The tension of what was brewing was felt on each page, and even thoug I knew it was coming I was still hoping for Maddy that it wouldn't.

If there were cameras in the room why did the teacher need to see who threw the pencil?? They could just look at the video.
