Personally, The Butcher’s Masquerade has to be my favorite one out of the whole series so far.
What can I say that doesn’t spoil anything? Finally see more into interesting characters we’ve only seen in the crawler recaps.
More of a deeper emotional connection of course between Carol and Donut. Honestly in a way, between many of the crawlers and characters. This one was very action packed. I enjoyed the floor setting. The lore was more explored and super interesting. And probably my most favorite part for me is how serious this one gets and the deep emotions that this one explored.
I’m DEELPY hoping this stays in the following books. Don’t get my wrong the humor isn’t there but you can tell it’s become more serious in this book. I can’t wait to keep going and see where this goes from here.
