I am yet to have a 5 star read this year, which is very rare for me as it is usually one of the most common ratings i give books (i am an optimistic rater LOL)
so!! convince me to read a book you loved, sell me on it! i read pretty much anything and everything, and my TBR listed here is all books i own if you want to take a look, but i am very open to any and all recs.

Hey all!
Bit scary making An Actual Post, but I have a question for all you libby pros out there!
I just got myself a 🔗 Queens NYU non-resident card (holy heck it allowed me from the UK and they seem amazing compared to my local library - just incomparable, really! $50 a year - strongly recommend - thanks to whoever posted about it yesterday in club!) and now I feel like my libby tags are gonna get really confused.
Is there any good tricks for how to organise libby when you have multiple libraries? Maybe something like genre tags? I'm looking for minimal fuss and confusion, but be able to easily find something to read out of my main wishlist - especially given I have choice paralysis. (I previously had just a wishlist and a "notify me" list, plus a "read in 2026" list, but now there are so many more books available to me that it feels overwhelming already, and I want to cut down on that as much as possible.)
Thank you so, so much in advance!

𖹭 If I don't reply to everyone, please forgive me, I will appreciate every reply extraordinarily much, but I'm struggling with a migraine that keeps flaring up, so I'm up and down with being able to manage to function like a human this week. A new library card is sure keeping me happier though! 🥰
𖹭 Edited to try and clarify my question better because my AuDHD brain is not good at explaining stuff, lol. (Also I didn't realise that each tag will default to showing the library card with the lowest wait on it, hence part of my confusion was solved on that front, thanks, Teddy! 🙌)

Hii, I was wondering if any of you can help me? I am a new reader and sadly the place where I currently live doesn’t have good bookstores that have the books I like.. So now here’s a choice between shipping books from other countries or reading online. Shipping books can take a while, it can get expensive and Blablabla. So the ultimate choice is online books, but I do not like them, and I do need physical books/maybe a kindle to bring to school when needed and also I can’t easily get an amazon kindle account ‘cause I’m not in the US and now I don’t know what to do, does anyone maybe have any tips..?

Can you recommend me a good short book? I like high fantasy, romantasy, thriller and romance. I don’t like scary books, dark romance and non fiction. 🤗

Does anyone else struggle to read on a trip? I always bring a book or my kobo with me and have every intention of reading on the plane or during downtime but just never seem to get to it. I’m not talking like relaxed mini vacations, but holidays where you’re travelling.

You people, help me out please. I am trying to find books that are not written by German or American authors. I‘ve already read things by authors like Osamu Dazai or Cixin Liu (at least I started on this one) but I am really trying to open my horizon to different cultures and different styles of writing. Thus I would also love recommendations for books that are not your generic popular English literature. Preferably without much romance, since I don’t enjoy that type of book usually! Thank you all for your help already!!
