I think I put too much pressure on this last book of the trilogy, I liked Rory and still do but something lacked for me in his journey with Shai as they explore their feelings and stalkerish behaviour. It had the same vibes as the other regarding plot but the couple made me miss something.

Cillian and Ollie are the opposites once you know them, but when you do a double take and deepen it you get to see two people that hold a want to be loved and find a safe space. Yeah, Ollie has his father and Cillian has Tiernan, Rory, Dean and Ash but it's a different kind of love. I loved watching them falling for each other and going deeper than a simple attraction. They protect each other.

Tiernan and Dean have my heart! I adored their story, their hearts bonding, and the possessiveness of their relationship. It all started with a revenge plan but then it turned into what Dean's heart needed. There's something so tragically beautiful in the writing and the way they need each other to breathe (dramatic but almost true lol).

Cute and solid read! I didn’t care a lot about Thad but I loved Kelley and his anxious heart - and can’t wait for the rest of the series because King Sports is messy in the best way possible hehe

I've had my fun with this one, but the main relationship was a little flavorless for me - wished they got deeper because the instant fascination Carmine has about Lyra is very fast and I like when there's more longing. (I didn't hate Carmine and Lyra it was just too easy for the obssession to happen??) BUT the suspense and action part of the book was interesting, I really liked the whole vigilant secret order that even the mafia is afraid or curious about.

The way I had so many emotions throughout this book!!!!! Madden and Theo got me on chokehold, I adored the Orpheus and Eurydice parallels - it did made me cry at some point because I adore dramatic confessions. Their romance was so explosive and so cute at the same time, also they can't stop the way they feel about each other.
