Well... it was a hint more bearable than Assistant to the Villain, I'll give it that...
and the narrators were good, albeit from time to time they sounded like serial killer from criminal minds, but yeah, I like duel narrators...and that's about it unfortunately.
As I've said before:
Lauren wanted to write the next Hunger Games without understanding why the series works nor wanted to put in the same amount of effort as SC did.
Instead she copy and paste together a book with loosey goosey worldbuilding, an inkling of a plot, and with characters who at best felt like two career kids from the first HG, and though that could be a very compelling book to read, that was clearly not the author's goal here.
