"Books do not find value when they are written. They find value when they are read." So many nuggets of wisdom in this book! I'm enjoying the philosophy as well as the story.
Exactly! I knew from book one that Rin had no place in the world she was trying to create, but I was DEVASTATED by Kitay having to go with her at the end.
I wish so bad for a world in which at least loyal, sweet, loving Kitay would've had a place to survive and thrive. We knew from the beginning that there ultimately was no other path for Rin, but there would've been for him. And i think his utter loyalty to her, even in death, without a question, makes this so much more devastating.
