This was 1000% the best one out of the series! It was so outlandish and original and having Hemlock use the form of the man from the cover of NIGHTHAWK BY BEVERLY JENKINS!! AND THE FACT THAT ITS WHY CHOOSE BUT WITH ONE CONSCIOUSNESS!!! My soul and money are forever your Kimberly Lemmingđ§ââď¸

I had so much fun reading this one! The characters were so fun and lively (and diverse!) which made the story very quirky and funny. Donât get me wrong though, the family trauma is there in full force, but the found family is impeccable! The narrator did a really good job bringing Joan and crew to life and I cannot wait for book two!!!

Iâm sorry Miss Julie, I didnât realize I was putting off such a good bookđ The characters and small town were so adorable and fun, which made this 500(!) page book seem shortđ (I literally started this book 13 hrs ago and worked an 8 and a half hour shiftđĽ¸). But what can I say? I think a single dad trope is my guilty pleasuređ¤ especially when itâs small townđââď¸

The idea was interesting, but the execution fell flat for me. The writing style wasnât my favorite and the multiple POVs felt a bit unnecessary to me. The narration was also really weird with the picking and choosing the times to use the monstrous voices and background noises. All in all, this book was not for me.

Is it crazy that I've been waiting for this couple since BOOK ONE and I read the acknowledgements and immediately panicked, threw the book down, and haven't picked it up since?đĽ˛đ
