  • Hello!

I think I’ve been here a week or so, but wanted to introduce myself! I’m April. I’m 31 and from Canada. Fantasy is my absolute favourite genre but I love trying other genres too! My favourite all time series is Lord of the Rings (even had a themed wedding!) and Throne of Glass is up there too. I am a huge fan of dogs (I have a Japanese mastiff), and reading (obviously). I am on StoryGraph and Instagram under the same name and would love to connect over books!

Hi all! I'm brand new and loving the site. One thing I'm noticing is that it's definitely fiction-focused, which is fine, but I'm mostly reading history these days. (History PhD student here!) When it comes to writing reviews, it would be awesome to maybe be able to choose whether it's a fiction or non-fiction book and then maybe have the review prompts reflect that. Plot and characters, for example, don't really apply to non-fiction books. :)
