If I’m honest the writing style itself is very pretty but unfortunately the content itself is very repetitive. It felt kinda intro level into the concept the way it kept making the same points which is great for some, but as someone familiar with the concept already it was very “yep that is indeed a pillar of community building”

I didn’t realize this was only a two hour audio book so just flew through it without even adding it to my currently reading tab so hadnt even seen THAT THERE ARE APPARENTLY ILLUSTRATIONS! Why must this always happen 😭

I say this as someone who loves a third act break up, this was one of the most pointless ones I’ve ever read. Thankfully I thought the fix was cute and really enjoyed the rest of the book, but my god this wasn’t even miscommunication this was just fully ignoring the other party.
Will read the rest of the series still, just will hope the breakups feel earned and not just a check box if they happen. I simply love the characters and how the “simply absolutely in love” little interactions are written. Plus a world where even non holida books will have to heavily involve a christmas tree farm?
