Bruhhhh I loved Archer so much š Like, I loved how complex his character was, and I LOVEDDD him and Mac. They were so freaking good for each other. I donāt wanna say they were my favorite because I still think Atticus and Jethro hold that spot, but they definitely got that solid second place for now. Maybe Iāll like Thomas and Aiden more though lol š
Anyways, the angst in the beginning with Archer not wanting to be with Mac and hating the fact that he DID want to be with him, but being so scared to actually be with him because that would mean Mac would also have to pretend and join him in all the lies and facade he puts on for his family?? That shit was INTENSE. I felt so bad for him š.
But then finding out Archer wasnāt actually an alcoholic and that the whole thing was just a front?? AND finding out how responsible he actually was?? I was like HOLY SHIT šš And then the reveal to his family?? TOP TIER. I definitely wanted to give Noah a hug because damn, Archer had been pretending for SO LONG like crazyyyy.
And Mac?? Damn, I loved how much he took charge and just knew exactly what Archer needed and gave it to him. Dude did NOT hold back at all. In his mind, Archer was his and that was IT. š
Also, the funny parts with Archer calling Noah for advice and then immediately doing exactly what Noah told him to do had me dying š Was the execution a little questionable? Yes. Yes it was. But was the result also good? ALSO YES.
Also as always the crime solving fighting and parts will always be my favorite love qhen they kill very bad people and the nasty fucks in this book def deserved it i gave so many nasty side glance qith every piece of info that came out about the trash š.
I just love how Noah has officially become the psychopath whisperer at this point. Like, this man is literally their dating dos and donāts coach šš. I legit cant wait to read Thomas's book like this book ending on tbe cliffhanger wild im glad I can read it tomorrow cause id go crazy if i had to wait but i cant waitt lol.

Okayyy, I liked Avi and Felixās story so much š Like, I genuinely loved how their connection was built and how it progressed throughout the book. Was their book also insta-love? Yes. Did I complain about that in the last book? Kind of š But honestly, I didnāt mind it as much here because it lowkey felt perfect for them. I felt like their relationship was being built and created behind the scenes, and you could actually feel their feelings growing throughout the book. Btw behind the scenes meant that it was building up till something popped and it did.
Felix⦠Felix, oh how I wanted to give that man a hug š The way he was so scared to be in a relationship because all the āwhat ifsā in his brain kept freaking him out, along with him constantly thinking he wasnāt good enough for Avi, was just squeezing my heart. The amount of loss in his life making him think he was cursed had my heart aching for him.The way he pretended to be all confident and brave when on the inside he was scared shitless??? š My poor baby. And i loved how Avi was just their for him their the tears and even the anger he felt sometimes felt really nice
And Avi??? My man knew WHAT he wanted. He knew he was tied to a leash the second Felix stepped into his life and he didnāt regret it for a single second š I loved how he treated Felix like the queen he was, doing everything he could to genuinely woo him and show Felix that he actually liked him and wanted him. Like sir, the devotion??? I ate that shit UP. Like when he was doing sweet things even before they started things and showing how much he cared for Felix before the they even got together swoon.
Also, solving the case was so fucking cool. I loved how it turned out that the person killing people was basically targeting bad people. And honestly??? After what happened to that girl and everything she went through, I was like yeahhhh, those bitches got what they deserved š can say this was ny favorite mystery solved so far in the series justice so sweet.
This book also lowkey made me SO excited for Aidenās book. Dude was so fucking funny every time he spoke, I was laughing my ass off š Like when he said, ā wanna go fishing with me,ā most normal shit ever but also funny asfff I was like AIDEN I LOVE YOU LMAOOO. I already know Iām gonna eat up his and Thomasās story so fast. I genuinely cannot wait for that book.
One more thing i loved was how Avi Felix Asa and Zane all had a happy family together like i loved how Zane and Felix gave things to each other the twina couldn't like emotionally abd loved how Felix said mine now and felt the urge to protect him just damn i loved it.

Listen, okay... I liked this book, but I don't think I liked it as much as the others. Did I hate it? No, not at all. I think it's just because I loved Moonstruck so much that it's making me not rave about this one as much.
The pairing was still really cute though. A psychopath who only kills bad people and a blogger who's blogs about murders teaming up to solve a game surrounded by a bunch of suspicious suicides? That's such a fun concept, and I did think they complemented each other really well. The kidnapping was lowkey funny and when Thomas said you kidnapped him i laughed so hard also him being tied to a radiator top peak comedy šš.
I'm not hating on the insta-love because y'all know I eat that shit up, but it's starting to feel a little repetitive with each book. Lowkey it gaves, "Wow, I'm a wolf shifter" (I know he's not a wolf shifter, just bear with me š) "and now I've imprinted on you, you're mine forever." That's just the vibe I got. Like I dont hate it but also idk wish their was more fight it felt like Zane gave in too fast yes in the beginning he fought back but it just felt that he was their not really adding alot šš.
One thing I did like was that Asa and Zane had similar backstories. Both of their moms were awful and cared more about their image than their own sons. Like... fuck both of them, honestly.
I'm trying to think of more to say, but I can't. Can I just say this book left me feeling kind of meh? Normally I'm really good at remembering books, scenes, and little details, but this one just didn't leave much of a mark on my memory. I still enjoyed it, though, so this isn't me dog-shitting on it or saying it's bad. It just wasn't as memorable for me as the others. If you want a simple book that isnt too crazy id say read this oneš. Excited for the rest of the books even though this one had me feeling meh.
