Love how this is written like a (fictional) memoir, even though not entirely sure if the footnotes are necessary. I mean, it's nice to learn some actual history, but since they aren't written "in character," I feel like it might have been a better idea to make them endnotes instead.

I was hoping to see more of Claudia's time away from her fathers (particularly how she convinced Madeline to become her new caretaker), but given how Anne Rice was about anything close to "fanfic" in her life, I understand if Ashley Marie Witter was worried about pushing her too far. All in all, this is a lovely tribute to one of my favourite characters in fiction, and I'm definitely interested in seeing more of Witter's artwork in other comics.
