My "maybe this is too woke for even the woke market" question is why is there no smut in the mainstream market written by black women and if black women are writing smut why is it not being consumed by women in general because I have never seen a "spicy" book that had a POC main character.
I wanted to ask that if there is a way to ask the question of "have you ever read smut that is written by black authors and includes people of colour beyond them having a tanned skin and being italian" without sounding like I'm filled with hate and vitriol. š

I am very indecisive right now. I know for sure I'm going to start reading Circe but I usually read another book while reading mythological books. I can't choose which one should it be, so you can choose for me! Here's the options: ⢠The Rose Bargain ⢠Cleat Cute (because of the World Cup š¤) ⢠The Tower of Nero (I have procrastinating finishing Trials of Apollo)

I just finished their vicious games and Iām now in a reading slump. Iām looking for closed door, no smut books. I have been recently getting into thrillers but not horror ( something like the naturals). As for themes romantasy, pirates, regular romance, and thriller suggestions will be preferred but Iām truly open to anything. ļæ¼

Hello! Iām looking for recommendations for romance books with older main characters. I pulled this as a TBR prompt for August and am struggling to find many options. Here is what Iām looking for:
-Iād love to find something with characters in their 50s - 70s (or older!) if possible, but would be happy with options starting at 40 -Age gap is okay if both characters are over 40, not looking to read a younger person with an older person -Anything goes in terms of M/M, F/F, F/M
Please help! Iāve read tons of contemporary romance of people in their 20s and 30s and would love to try something different šš¼

Are there any Black Romance books out there in the Kindle World that have the depth, yearning loving romance ofc, black wealth, racism isnāt a factor, this is there world type book? I know that description may sound confusing but simply books that donāt have any rules to them simply because they are black featuring unconditional love lol. I am a Big romance girlie but I love a good Plot. And no I donāt mind it being a series, love those!
Check out the books Iāve read for a better feel xoxo.
Also when Ms. Antoinette Sherell coming out with Pt.3 ifykyk lol.

helloooo! does anyone have any good zombie horror recommendations? i want something that feels like resident evil or the last of us! i'm not really looking for romance, but i don't mind if it has a small amount in it. as long as it's not the main point of the story. gimme the gore and the trauma and the found family!

The writing in this is lovely and the pacing is perfect. It has you excited for a kiss and celebrating when they finally do kiss. Love the fact that the deathless god is basically a simp for Jessamine and the two POV's are fun to have granting you a look into each characters thoughts and minds.

Hii to whoever is reading this! The books I've been reading lately have been kind of a flop, which is why I wanted to read a romance book that would have me giggling and kicking my feet. For reference, I absolutely ADORED the Boys of Tommen series, and hated the first Mile High book (which is why I have not continued with the series). I also love the friends to lovers and childhood friends to strangers to lovers tropes, but any suggestion is welcome!! Thanks!!
