An introduction to the Horror genre, these books are part of the cultural zeitgeist or the 'canon' that many would recognize. Look for more niche titles in later Starter Pack volumes.

I've been struggling to get a foothold in fiction for some time now and have come to realise that I need fiction that is insane enough to warrant it being NOT non fic, i.e. future setting (Dune), gods (Warhammer 40k), extreme horror (Wrath James White) etc. Jack Ketchum's book albeit more believable and "realistic", it does not hold my attention and does not justify it being fiction in my opinion. Too mundane.
