What kind of crack did she put in this damn series. I thought I was unwell with the first book and now here we are. Even more unwell. This book. Well to be frank this book so much darker than the 1st and please read the TWs. With that said I honestly couldn’t put the book down. This book we got heartbreak and more heartbreak. You finally get to the end of the flashbacks and you see what happened to lead them to not talk for 2 years and when I say my heart broke so bad for really both of them. I mean it. Chris. Chris just needs to go d** and make it the most horrible way possible. I don’t think I have ever hated a character more than I do this man. I will say there was a little time where I was a tad happy because Kade and Stacey finally let go for a while and got to be happy even if it was for the shortest time possible. There were truths dropped like bombs that made me just look at the page. My love for Tobias grows every book and watching him basically adopt Stayce just made my heart happy. Then sweet Barry. I would literally just do anything for this man. I think the worst part that made my heart break even more was when Kade finally learned the truth and him trying to get to Stacie just 🫠. I am very not ok with that cliffhanger and the ending was so rude. 😭. Stayce and Kade, you will forever have my heart.

I…. I don’t even know where to start with this other than my gid, I should have read this sooner. When I tell you I was in a chokehold. Boy. I couldn’t put this book down. Kade and Stacey. My loves. My sweet babies. We start this journey when these 2 meet and from there. It’s really just a journey from there. These 2 have a complicated past and this books keeps you guessing but also able to start putting pieces together. When I tell you my heart breaks for both of them. After the flashback in the first chapter you come back to present time and see that both Kade and Stacey hate each other and then I had questions. I needed to know what happened. We get the flashback and my god, my sweet babies. They were just. Everything. To see how happy Stacey was able to be. To see Kade just feel things was just everything and heartbreaking at the same time. I ate this book needed to know more and what was going to happen next. These 2. The pull they fight but then later understanding why. I stay rooting for them. Kade, he is trying his damn hardest to work his way out of his situation but with that you realize how much his family and friends mean to him and how the “old Kade” as Stacey likes to put it is still in there. I’m so in love with this crew and well Kade and Stacey it’s not even funny. Now on to the next heartbreak.
