Minicovers for eBooks - any ideas?
First of all - I am kinda overwhelmed by the positivity in this community. I'm a fresh user, really love it here and can't wait to expirience the next years with all of you. I want to apologise in advance about the bumpy english, it's not my first language. I try to get by without translation-apps 😬 Now about the topic: I started to make a mini version of every book i finish in 2023. My BF 3d-printed a little bookshelf, i scan the book i finished, print out a very small version of the cover, fill it with little cutouts from an old dictionary (so it feels like a book) and put them in the bookcase with little 3d-printed year-markers as separators. My problem with this is now that I've started to read a lot more eBooks and have no cover to scan. I can't go to the libraries here and scan the covers because they don't carry a lot of books in english. Most of the books don't have full covers (front, back, and spine) on google. If there are any seperate pictures i edit them (badly with paint, but at that size you cant really tell) into one cover but thats really rare. Most times there isn't any picture of the back to be found. Does anyone know where i could find full covers or has any idea for another solution?
Edit: With the fantastic help and inspiration of estefonzii I backtracked my Bookjourney since 2010 😁 and filled two shelves with cute miniatures 🥰 I uploaded the pictures to my Dropbox so you can see them.

My next project will be a minicover for every book on my TBR so i can pick random books to read 😅 this might kill me because thats a huge TBR. But I will be so happy when it's done. I can't wait to fill the next years!
