My heart is beating out of my chest as I write this. The tension is perfection, building up slowly and the characters are extremely relatable. I'm terrified for Rae after that insane cliffhanger!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book from start to finish, reading every chance I got. This book does have trigger warnings, and for good reason, I sobbed at the animal scene.

The Swan Prince saw my expectations, plucked them, set them on fire and then stomped on them for good measure. This book was incredible! It is a classic fairytale that I felt was made specifically to bring back that whimsy you felt reading the classics as a child. The serene and nostalgic vibes were heartwarming, I spent most of the book giggling with a massive smile on my face.

The characters were perfection. The perfect mix between brave, funny, sarcastic and tortured. Even the side characters, and the ones you're meant to be betting against, make you fall in love with them. The villains really had you seething and plotting their demise. While being a classic fairy tale style story, it still had plenty of slow burn, longing and even a little spice which was written so beautifully.

The twists at the end had me in tears a couple of times, the scenes so raw and full of feeling. This is the first time this year I've cried at a book!

After reading The Swan Prince, I feel I got back a little piece of my stolen childhood, so for that, thank you! It will be a story I will always treasure!

    😵

This has to be one of the most enjoyable books of 2025 for me.

A female main character in her 30s? A world full of magic, bonds, suspense and betrayal?

With twists and turns throughout, beautifully written characters that you feels for, a gorgeous yet deadly world and an epic cliffhanger, this book will have you on the edge of your seat one minute and grinning like a fool the next.

It was refreshing to read a fantasy story with an older group of MCs, being in my 30s myself it made the story and characters so much more relatable. Very excited to see what comes next with book two.

This book was so beautifully written, the characters were so relatable, they captured my heart almost instantly.

The story was so well thought out, the intrigue and mystery had me staying up reading on through the night eager to find out what happens next. The cliffhanger at the end has me dying for the next book. I can't wait to read about Remi and Lucas in the next one!

This story had me gripped Instantly, the characters were so relatable, you really felt what they felt and were rooting for them from the first chapters, Ross' descriptive writing brought their voices to life. The one liners were just perfection. Had me giggling to myself all the way through.

The world building was uniquely fascinating, equal parts ethereal and terrifying. It had me wishing to be pulled into Wynmire and journey with my favourite characters!

I was drawn in by the plot straight away, guessing what was coming and not being able to put it down. The twists were thrilling, the antagonists were formidable and the protagonists were dynamic and complex.

The ending had me sobbing. Book two please?

If you're into epic fantasy with a touch of open door spice, don't miss this! I have already recommended to all my friends!
