Interesting comment on e-book. I still like reading on my ebook and I almost exclusively read on e-book now. Number 1, it's a lot lighter than a book and I can easily carry it everywhere and hold it with one hand. Number 2, I can adjust the font size so it's easier on my eyes. Number 3, I know it's bad, but then, ebook allows me to read in the dark with the buit in back light. 🤪 Number 4, I can quickly borrow/buy a book on the go, as long as I have access to the internet.
I actually have a few physical books that I want to finish but, they are quite big and heavy 😓 so I don't take them outside and hence, they don't get read.
Ah! Just thought of number 5. I like the built in dictionary function on e-book, so when I see a word I don't know, I can just highlight that word and the dictionary comes on!
I have to say I am reading way more since I got my ebook.

I was hoping I would like this book. The beginning of the book was good. It has such a whimsical setting, with so many interesting characters. But I didn't feel there was much development of the characters. Even with the main character, Penny, it pretty much just talks about how she got the job and her days at the department store, but there was no growth or development of her character.
There were some good messages that I believe the author wants to bring out, but, the messages were just lay out flat with not much story development.
