This was so cute and interesting I don’t know how I stopped reading my first go around.
One of my favorite types of plots where thy just do a bunch of ‘quests’ but this one was working towards a goal; that being animal conservation. Ugh I loved this it brings me back to when I wanted to be a zookeeper when I was younger!
I don’t like how this is marketed as a romance (a queer romance at that) when for when up until 75% the fmc was pining for/with a man and at 75% it only took till about 80% for them to confess. It was more a romance subplot and we don’t even see much of their relationship other than about 3 scenes. Still very cute and loving the underlying trans rep (especially mtf we love the dolls)
Cozy mundane fantasy with animals at the forefront, sign me up for anything like this! I sped through this in about 2 days it’s super good

I’ve just realized that the author uses so many periods and simple sentences that now I can’t stop noticing it. She made a lid but it was like “the birds. The griffins. The dragons.” Like we have commas 😔
