I love Pagebound's emoji system to describe books! And with so many readers and book lovers here, I'm guessing there are quite a few writers around and I would love to see what emojis you would choose for your current or latest project, be it published or personal, completed or unfinished; novels, fanfiction, poetry etc! Also, if your work is available to read/buy somewhere, feel free to share! I would love to read some! 📚🥰

Not bad so far. It's a bit cliché and somewhat strange at times, but it's cute and entertaining!

Something I've been always doing but recently realised that not everyone does (shocker!), is searching the book title or author on Spotify and playing the playlist that someone put together for specific books. Below, I will list some of my favourite playlists that totally matched the book vibes and enhanced my reading experience. What are your favourite reading playlists? Name them!
Book title (Author) - Playlist name
🎶 Never let me go (K Ishiguro) - reading 'never let me go' by kazuo ishiguro 🎶 any title (Sayaka Murata) - sayaka murata effect 🎶 Project Hail Mary (A Weir) - Project Hail Mary (Original Motion Picture Scores) 🎶 Human Acts (H Kang) - human acts by han kang 🎶 Play It As It Lays (J Didion) - play it as it lays 🕊️ 🎶 Giovanni's Room (J Baldwin) - reading giovanni’s room

I had such a great time reading this book! The plot, characters, and vibe are not particularly original, but this is the kind of book where that doesn't really matter. It is just a good story full of magic, love, intrigue, and secrets, that is engaging as hell! The pacing is great, the characters interesting enough, and even though the plot is familiar, it is still thrilling and a lot of fun to read! I'm definitely excited for the sequel!

I didn't really know what to expect before starting this book, but even so, this novel ended up being both predictable and surprising.
It has a lot of classic elements and storylines that you can expect from the genre. There's secret royalty, fated mates, magic, swords, etc, and it's mixed with some pretty interesting plot elements and character developments, and the author weaved it together into a story that's familiar and new at the same time!
The pacing is a bit strange, and there is still plenty I would like to learn in regards to world building, but overall, I really enjoyed the story, and I will definitely continue the series!

This is a rough read, and there's plenty of heavy chapters and moments. It is also pretty slow, but it still is such an engaging read! It is beautifully written and the language and storytelling is just excellent!

I really like the writing style and pacing of this book. It's eerie and strange but feels so real at the same time!
