This book had such an intriguing premise and it didn't disappoint!

This is a queer Orpheus and Eurydice retelling written in verse and it is just excellent from start to finish! I loved the writing style, the pacing, and the relationships. It did get a bit confusing at times, but not so much that it took away from the story.

It is definitely not a book for everyone and it gets strange at times (in a good way), but I really liked it. Will probably read more from this author.

This is unlike any other book I have read before, and the writing style and formatting make it very hard to stop reading!

I have liked most books by this author and this had a similar vibe. The plot is straight forward and may be a bit unoriginal at times, but it's not bad!

The characters are messy and not always likeable, but they are real and well written. The drama was well done for the most part and while it wasn't extremely romantic, it had some sweet and cute moments.

It is not always easy to read though as some heavier themes and topics surrounding racism, fatphobia, and more are significant in the story, but the author did an excellent job.

    Overall, pretty good!

This book really has just the right amount of drama to make it engaging, without being stressful. Just a delight to read!
