I feel that the ending was a bit rushed in terms of the war. However, it still depicted how damaged Katniss was because of the events that transpired. This was a good ending to the trilogy. This is a reread already as I read this book 10 years ago and it is still one of my favorites. Also, it should be Buttercup who wins as the champion of the Hunger Games. Survived the bombing and travelled by foot from District 13 to 12.

This book was written beautifully. I love how seamless the time jumps were. The topics tackled in the book were added seamlessly that it does not feel like you have different plots or conflict jumbled in one book. It depicted the reality of a woman who wanted to climb up to power and what was needed to do to get there.

If you are planning to read Sunrise on the Reaping. I highly recommend re reading this book. This is my reread. There are some parts that I do feel that is a bit rushed. However, it was still an amazing experience for me. This is definitely a book that I will never get tired of. The emotions of each character are there, Johanna is a lot more crazier in the book than portrayed in the movie. Still one of my favorite dystopian books.

As much as I wanted to enjoy this book, it was not really for me. It did not really give me much to go with.

I always wonder why Madge was not included in the movies.

I would have rated it 5 star if only they did not kill a dog. I love how the book was written. It was fast pace and the details do not bore me. I just hate the transcript and production log because the fonts were too small for me. It is a YA thriller book but it is also perfect for those who wants to try thriller genre for the first time.
